Bangalore 2 Data Center Virtual Tour

Get to know our data center
The following images give you an in-depth virtual tour of our India Bangalore 2 data center facility.

India Bangalore 2 Data Center is located at the Electronic city in Bangalore known as the "Sillicon Valley of India". It is one of the largest scale data center in Bangalore which provides highly reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure with more than N+1 redundancy.

CUSTOMER ENTRANCE
An identity verification will be done at reception. Turnstile gate is provided for the customer entering one by one, avoiding unauthorized intrusion into the facility. Trained security guards are placed to ensure security at the facility 24/7.
There is a 12-foot curved steel fencing surrounds MEP and loading dock area for an added layer of physical security.

Here is the entrance lobby of the building. Security guards are on site 24/7.

X-RAY BAGGAGE SCANNER
All belongings of visitors are checked with the baggage scanner. Any objects that are not allowed in the data center floor should be left at the reception area during the visit.

METAL DETECTOR
To avoid carrying-in of any weapons, customer's body will be scanned by a metal detector.

SECURITY GATE
The security gate will open with an IC card.

CUSTOMER LOUNGE
Customer-dedicated lounge is provided for customer's comfortable stay.

Customer experience room provides visitors with an overview of the different data center systems, through the likes of walkthroughs and presentations.

This conference room is available for any customer meeting.

Our Network Operations Center (NOC), manned 24/7 comprises of support staff, call analysts and senior technical staff. This dedicated group of people monitors all critical parameters related to the performance of the network and the servers being hosted.

The Building Management System (BMS) integrates all building equipment and enables centralized monitoring.

The CCTV room enables 24/7 monitoring inside and outside of the building.

Each server room floor has turnstile gate to avoid unauthorized intrusion into the server room. Trained security guards are placed to ensure security at the facility 24/7.

BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION
Biometric authentication and access card are required for the room access.

Our server room has a 750 mm raised floor with advanced data center features such as hot aisle-cold aisle concept for cooling, structured cabling and so on. Enclosed racks of various dimensions and customized cages are available for customer's flexible use.

In the material handling area, loading / unloading and bar coding of physical materials takes place. Storage rooms for both permanent and transit use are also available at this area.

FREIGHT LIFT
There is a huge freight lift of 3 ton capacity which can take any IT rack without tilting.

The transformers are stepping down incoming voltage from 11 kV to 440 V.

Redundant generator sets are installed to provide backup power, in case the main power from the electricity grid fails. This ensures uninterrupted power supply even in the unlikely event of a long duration power failure.

FUEL TANK
Two fuel tanks that can together hold 50,000 liters of fuel capable of running the full load of the building for 48 hours without refuel are placed in this area.

High Tension (HT) panels handle high voltage power from the main power grid.

Low Tension (LT) panels are in redundant configuration for electricity distribution across the data center.

Our state-of-the-art fire suppression systems such as Novec 1230 gas system, very early detecting apparatus, and addressable detecting system are installed in this data center.

We have two Meet-me rooms which enable redundant network connectivity. They are powered by three fiber paths.

The UPS systems are redundant as N+N and have data center battery banks with sufficient capacity to sustain 100% load for period in excess of 15 minutes during power failure.

BATTERIES
The battery room hosts the battery sets which follow N+N configuration for backup.

The customer seating area contains different modules of different sizes. Individual customers get to choose the seating layout they want. All basic office, communication, and pantry facilities have been enabled here.

The chiller platform is the source of chilled air for the server halls in the floors below. The supply is routed through redundant pipes to Precision Air Handling Units (PAHU) installed in the server halls.
